Lal is a gentle man with an extensive knowledge of Sri Lanka. He is a very careful driver who listened to what we wanted and obliged….with a smile.
He is funny, caring and considerate.

My friend and I just came off 12 days with Lal and it was just the best. Lal is built for this job - his 30 years of experience means he knows the best places and people all around the country and his guests come first. He acted as our driver, tour guide and an old friend sharing words of wisdom, history and stories with us along the way. He also knew when to give us privacy and let us rest. Couldn’t recommend Lal enough! We love him!

I booked Lal services after he was recommend to me by friends who travelled with him on two different occasions. I can now recommend him myself as he was the nicest, most knowledgable guide I could have hoped for. He picked me up on Matara, drove me to the national park where he sorted out a tour for me, then we drove to a remote temple. We also stopped in Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Matale, Polonaruwa and finally in Dambulla. It was an incredible 5 days. I learnt so much about Buddhism and the life in Sri Lanka. He kindly agreed to make last minute change to the route and even drive me an extra day. He was the best, had the best addresses and everything for a super reasonable price. If you need a taxi in Sri Lanka he is the man!
